Checklist
GPSR checklist for a small shop
Six points to go through with a cup of tea. If you would rather answer questions than read, the self-check does the same in two minutes.
Six things to check
- A responsible person in the EU. A company or a person in the EU acts for you under a written mandate.
- Its details in every listing. The name, postal address and email are filled in on the marketplace.
- A label. Your details and the representative's details are on the product, the packaging or a card in the parcel.
- A risk assessment. There is a written one for each product.
- Warnings and instructions. They are in the language of the buyer's country where the product needs them.
- Documents and complaints. The documents are kept, and you know what to do when a buyer reports a safety problem.
[LAWYER TEXT] The exact list of duties depends on the product. This checklist is a simplified summary, not legal advice.
Check your own shop
The self-check asks about these points and shows the gaps worth closing. It is free and needs no email.
Not sure where your shop stands?
The free self-check takes about two minutes and shows which gaps are worth closing. No email needed.
